• 240g softened butter
• 2 cups brown sugar
• 1½ teaspoons ground cinnamon
• 1½ teaspoons ground nutmeg
• 1½ teaspoons ground allspice
• 5 large eggs
• 2 cups plain flour
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
