- 1/4 cup Tomato paste
- 1 tsp Ground turmeric
- 1 tsp Ground cumin
- 1 tsp Ground coriander
- 1 tsp Ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp Ground cardamom
- 1/2 tsp Ground black pepper
- 4 cups Water or beef broth (plus more if needed)

- 2 large Carrots, peeled and chopped
- 2 large Potatoes, peeled and chopped
- 1 large Zucchini, chopped
- 1 cup Pumpkin or butternut squash, chopped
