• 2 cups half-and-half
• 2 cups water
• .5 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
• 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
• .5 cup finely chopped yellow onion
• .25 cup finely peeled and chopped celery
• 3 medium potatoes, peeled and finely diced
• .5 teaspoon marjoram
• .5 teaspoon dried tarragon
• .5 teaspoon ground white pepper
