- 20 g fresh yeast or 10 g dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 460 g wheat flour (type 550)
- 30 g sugar
- 1 vanilla sugar (16 g)
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 2 egg yolks
- 50 g melted butter
- 150 g lukewarm milk
- 1 egg yolk + 1 tablespoon water for brushing the zopf
