Ingredients

• 1 petite French baguette, about 8 to 10 inches in length
• 6 large Pete & Gerry's eggs
• 1 shallot, diced
• 1 garlic clove, minced
• 1 bell pepper, diced
• 1/4 cup half-and-half
• 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
• 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
• 2 tablespoons chopped fresh herbs, like basil or parsley
• 2/3 cup freshly grated mozzarella or Provolone cheese
