• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 cup water
• 1 tablespoon olive oil
• 1/2 cup onion - chopped
• 1/2 cup carrot - chopped
• 1/2 cup celery - chopped
• 1 bell pepper - chopped (optional)
• 1 jalapeno pepper - chopped (optional)
• 1 can tomato sauce (15 oz)
• 1 can diced tomatoes (15 oz)
• 2 tablespoons tomato paste
• 2 teaspoons cumin
• 2 tablespoons chili powder
• 1 teaspoon minced garlic
• 1 teaspoon oregano
• 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
• 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
