- 1 ounce yeast
- 3/4 cup warm water
- 2 tablespoons shortening
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon Gefen Salt
- 1 egg white
- 1 tablespoon water
- coarse salt, for sprinkling
- Gefen Sesame or poppy seeds, for sprinkling
