Ingredients
- 4 cups Glicks Flour
- 3 teaspoons Gefen Yeast
- 1/4 cup cold-pressed olive oil
- 1/4 cup Gefen Canola Oil
- 1 and 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 tablespoon anise seed
- 1 and 1/2 teaspoons ground mahlab (available in specialty spice shops)
- 1 and 1/4 cups water
- 1 beaten egg mixed with a pinch of salt, for glazing
- sesame seeds, black cumin seeds, poppy seeds, pumpkin seeds, rolled oats, or za’atar, for garnish
