Red Beans and Rice with Spam Recipe
This red beans and rice with Spam recipe is one my mom made combining our Minnesota culture, where Spam originated, and Puerto Rico, where my dad is from.

- 3 (15 ounce) cans kidney beans, with liquid
- 1 (12 ounce) can fully cooked luncheon meat (such as SPAM®), cubed
- 0.25 cup butter
- 0.125 teaspoon dried onion flakes
