• 2 tablespoons cherry liqueur (optional)
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 3 cups cake flour or White Lily All Purpose Flour
• 1 cup Dutch-processed cocoa powder
• 1 1/2 cups sour cream, at room temperature
• 2 cups fresh cherries, quartered (or 2-15 oz cans canned dark sweet cherries, drained)
