• 3 cups apples,
• 4 tablespoons lemon zest and juice
• 2¼ cups all-purpose flour
• 4 teaspoons baking powder
• 2 teaspoons baking soda
• 2 tablespoons salt
• 4 eggs,
• 1⅓ cups sugar
• 2 tablespoons vanilla
• 4 tablespoons bourbon or whiskey.
