• 1 cup plus 1 tablespoon sugar
• 3/4 cup Albers yellow cornmeal
• 4 tablespoons Horizon Organic unsalted butter cut into four pieces
• 1 Egglands Best egg
• 1 1/4 cups Alta Dena cultured low fat buttermilk
• 2 packages Melissas dried Rainier cherries about 1 cup
