- 3 C unbleached cake flour
- 1/2 t baking powder
- 1/2 t baking soda
- 1 C cultured buttermilk
- 1 1/2 C dark brown sugar
- 1 C cultured butter, room temperature
- 3 eggs, room temperature
- 1 C 63% bittersweet chocolate discs, chopped
- 1 C 63% bittersweet chocolate discs, melted and slightly cooled
- 1 T vanilla bean paste
- 1 1/2 C powdered sugar
- 3 T semisweet chocolate chips
