A true classic in my household. Grandpap made it whenever we would visit.
Ingredients
- 290g (2-1/3 cup) flour
- 470g (2 cups) brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 115g (1/2 cup) margarine (soft) or shortening
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp soda
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1 cup milk
- 2 beaten eggs
