Ingredients

• 1 cup bread crumbs
• 1 small carrot, minced
• 1 stalk celery, minced
• 2 eggs
• 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
• 1/4 cup heavy cream
• 1 3/4 pounds 80% lean ground beef
• 1/2 pound mortadella, minced
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• 1 small onion, minced
• 1 tablespoon chopped fresh oregano (or 1 teaspoon dried)
• 1/4 bunch parsley, chopped (about 1/4 cup)
• 2 teaspoons salt
• 2 tablespoons tomato paste
