Sweet Pork Wrapped in Betel Leaf (Bo La Lot) - SunPork Fresh Foods
This is a great little street food from Vietnam as a snack for a family or pre-make for some party finger food.
Ingredients
- 1kg pork mince
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 5 shallots, finely chopped
- 2 Tbsp. garlic, minced
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. lemongrass, minced (white part only)
- 2 tsp. fish sauce
- 2 tsp. white pepper
- 1 tsp. five spice powder
- 1 tsp. corn flour
- ½ cup peanuts, roughly chopped
- 30 fresh betel leaves, washed
- 10 skewers, soaked in water
- Salt, to taste
