Ingredients

• 1 package yeast
• 3 TBL warm water
• Scant 3 cups flour
• ¼ cup sugar
• ½ tsp salt
• ⅔ cup warm milk
• ½ cup butter (1 stick)
• 1 well-beaten egg
• 1 pound walnuts, ground finely with a meat grinder
• 1½ cups sugar
• 6 ounces (½ can) evaporated milk
• ½ tsp cinnamon
• 6 TBL melted butter
