Ingredients

• 4 bacon strips, chopped
• 1/2 cup chopped onion
• 1 teaspoon sugar
• 3/4 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
• 1/4 teaspoon pepper
• 6 cups chopped cabbage
• 1/4 cup water
