• 24 walnut halves
• 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
• 2 teaspoons sugar
• 1 teaspoon paprika
• 1/2 teaspoon cayenne

• 1 4-ounce soft goat cheese log, cut into 1⁄4 inch slices
• 4 cups frisée lettuce, loosely packed
