Ingredients

• <strong>Filling:</strong>
• 1 onion, finely chopped
• 1 tbsp vegetable oil 15 ml
• 1/2 lb lean ground beef 225g
• 1 garlic clove, chopped
• 1 tbsp chili powder 15ml
• 1/2 tsp ground cumin 2.4 ml
• 14 oz can brown lentils, rinsed and drained 398ml
• 1/2 cup beef broth 125ml
• 1 tomato, diced
• salt and pepper, to taste
• <strong>Tacos:</strong>
• 2 tomatoes, diced
• 1/4 cup cilantro, finely chopped 10g
• 1 tbsp lime juice 15ml
• 12 hard taco shells
• 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated 100g
• 2 cups iceberg lettuce, thinly sliced 120g
• sour cream, to taste
