Southern Sweet Potato Bread - Miz En Place

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup chopped pecans (plus extra for topping, if desired)
• 1/2 cup dried cranberries
• 1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour, divided
• 2 tsp baking powder
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 3/4 cup brown sugar
• 1 tsp ground cinnamon
• 1 tsp ground or freshly grated nutmeg
• 1/2 tsp ground ginger
• 1 cup mashed, cooked sweet potatoes, at room temperature
• 2 large eggs, beaten
• 6 tbsp butter, melted and cooled slightly
• 1/2 cup whole milk
