This decadent nutella cake is the ultimate party cake! Although it looks impressive, it's not as tricky to make as you might think.
Ingredients
- ½ cup cocoa powder
- 225g butter, softened
- 1½ cups caster sugar
- 3 eggs
- 2 cups plain flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
- ⅔ cup milk
- ¾ cup Nutella
- Assorted chocolates, to decorate (see Tip)
- CHOCOLATE FROSTING
- 250g butter, softened
- 1½ cups icing sugar mixture
- 180g block dark chocolate, melted, cooled
