Ingredients

• ½ cup 1 stick/4 oz unsalted butter, soft
• ¼ cup Nutella
• ½ cup + 2 tablespoons milk
• ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
• 1 cup white sugar
• 1½ cups flour
• 1½ teaspoons baking powder
• 2 teaspoons baking soda
• ¼ teaspoon salt
• 2 medium-sized eggs (room temperature)
• About 2 cups Nutella (not for the buttercream)
• 1 cup 2 sticks unsalted butter, soft
• 3-4 cups powdered sugar
• ½ cup natural unsweetened cocoa powder
• 3-4 tablespoons heavy cream (milk, or half and half)
• Chocolate chips (optional)
