Summer is the time for grilling and peaches! This easy dessert is great with a dry pink sparkling rose, such as an inexpensive Segura Viudas.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup bourbon ((I like Maker’s Mark for this))
- 1 stick softened butter
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1 lemon (juiced)
- 1/2 cup water
- 8 ripe peaches, (cut in half, pits removed)
- vanilla ice cream (to top)
- Chopped, toasted pecans (for garnish)
