Ingredients

• 2 red onions
• 1 thumb-sized piece of fresh ginger
• 2 cloves of garlic
• 1 red capsicum
• olive oil
• 500g lamb mince
• 1 heaped tablespoon garam masala
• 1 cinnamon stick
• 4 cardamon pods (podded)
• 1 x 400g tin tomatoes
• 1kg potatoes
• sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
• unsalted butter
• semi-skimmed milk
• 100g frozen peas
