• 1 c. butter-flavored Crisco
• 3 eggs
• ¼ c. molasses
• 2 tsp. baking soda
• 1 T. ground ginger
• 1 T. cinnamon
• ½ T. allspice (optional)
• 1 tsp. ground clove
• ½ T. salt
• 5–6 c. flour
