Babs’ Baked Penne - Creamette

Ingredients

• 3 tbsp Extra-virgin olive oil
• 1 lb Sweet Italian sausage (casings removed)
• 3 Garlic cloves, finely chopped
• 1 tsp Teaspoon dried oregano
• ½ tsp Teaspoon fennel seeds, coarsely crushed
• Pinch of red-pepper flakes (optional)
• 2 28oz Cans crushed San Marzano tomatoes with their juice
• ¼ cup Basil Leaves
• ¼ cup Basil Leaves for topping (optional)
• 1 lb Dried Creamette Penne
• 8 oz Freshly grated mozzarella (about 2 cups by volume)
• 8 oz Whole milk ricotta
• ⅓ cup Grated parmesan
