Split pea and ham soup - Bidfood

Ingredients

• 1 Smoked ham hock
• 1 Large onion, roughly chopped
• 1 Large carrot, roughly chopped
• 2 Celery sticks, roughly chopped
• 1 Bouquet garni (thyme, bay leaf and parsley)
• sprig of Rosemary
• 2 Garlic cloves (crushed or minced)
• 300g (10½oz) dried green or yellow split peas
• 400g Frozen green peas (shelled weight)
• 1 tbsp Olive oil
