Cuban Piccadillo recipe - from the Tampa Bay Cuban Recipes Family Cookbook

Ingredients

• One of my favorite ‪‎Cuban recipes that I learned from my mother is Piccadillo. So easy to make and everyone loves it.
• Ingredients:
• 2 cups onion, diced�
• 2 cups green pepper, seeded and finely chopped
• 2 tablespoons olive oil for saut�ing
• 4 cloves garlic, minced
• 1/2 cup of vino seco (edmundo golden cooking wine)
• 2 8oz cans of tomatoe sauce
• 2 pounds ground beef
• 1 teaspoon cumin, ground
• 1 teaspoon oregano
• 1/2 cup green olives, chopped
• 1/3 cup raisins (optional)
• 1/2 cup of the Green olive juice brine.
