  • 4 egg whites (stiffly beaten)
  • 1½ cups unsalted butter (at room temperature)
  • ½ teaspoon table salt
  • 6 cups confectioners' sugar (sifted)
  • ⅔ cup whole milk
  • 4 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • red food colouring (optional - but so pretty)
  • pink sanding sugar
