• 1 tbsp (15 mL) ground black pepper
• 1/3 cup (80 mL) vegetable oil
• 1/3 cup (80 mL) butter
• 2 onions sliced
• 2 garlic cloves minced
• 1 lb (450 g) mushrooms sliced
• 3 tbsp (45 mL) brandy or beef broth
• 2 tbsp (30 mL) all-purpose flour
• 1 1/2 cups (375 mL) hot Milk
• 1 tsp (5 mL) Worcestershire sauce
• 1 tbsp (15 mL) tomato paste
• 2 dill pickles in julienne
• 1/2 cup (125 mL) sour cream
• A dash of Tabasco sauce
• Salt and pepper to taste
• 1 lb (450 g) fettucine
• 3 tbsp (45 mL) butter
• 3 tbsp (45 mL) chopped fresh parsley
