• 1 (28oz) can crushed tomatoes
• 1/4 cup red wine
• 1/2 cup beef broth
• pinch of red pepper flakes
• 1-2 bay leaves
• oregano, to taste
• basil, to taste
• parsley, to taste
• salt and pepper to taste
