- 1 cup flour
- 1 ½ teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 5 whole eggs-separated
- 1 cup sugar divided
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- ⅓ cup milk
- 2 generous pinches saffron
- 3 Milk glaze:
- Can evaporated milk
- ¾ can condense milk
- 250ml fresh cream
- Pinch saffron strands
- 500ml fresh cream beaten till thick with 2 tablespoon castor
