Ingredients

• 3 1/2 tablespoons flour, for sauce
• 1 small onion, for sauce
• 3/4 cup milk, for sauce
• 1 cup chicken broth, for sauce
• salt to taste, for sauce
• 1/2 teaspoon pepper, for sauce
• 1 cup sharp cheddar shredded, for sauce
• 3 lbs potatoes, diced
• 2 cups ham, diced
• 2 cups frozen peas
• 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese or to taste
