Bulgarian Baklava Recipe - Traditional Sweet Pastry Dessert

Ingredients

• 1 lb (16 oz) phyllo dough, thawed
• 2 cups walnuts, finely chopped
• 1 cup pistachios, finely chopped
• 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
• 1/2 cup granulated sugar
• 1 tsp ground cinnamon
• 1/4 tsp ground cloves
• 1/4 tsp ground cardamom
• 1/2 cup honey
• 1/2 cup water
• 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for syrup)
• 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
• 1 strip lemon zest
• 1 tsp rose water
• 1 tsp orange blossom water
• Pinch of sea salt
• 2 tbsp finely chopped pistachios (for garnish)
