Ube Pound Cake (Purple Yam) - PinoyBites

Ingredients

• 1 cup unsalted butter (softened (room temperature))
• 2 ¾ cups sugar
• 6 large eggs (room temperature)
• 2 to 3 teaspoons ube flavor (I used McCormick)
• 3 cups cake flour
• ¼ teaspoon baking soda
• ½ teaspoon salt
• 1 cup sour cream (room temperature)
• Glaze:
• ½ cup Ube Halaya (homemade or store bought)
• 1 to 2 tablespoons milk (to thin it out)
