Ingredients

• 2 packages active dry yeast
• ¼ cup warm water
• 1cup milk, warmed
• 8 tablespoons (1 stick) butter, softened
• 3 eggs at room temperature (warm with hot water if coming right out of the refrigerator)
• ½ cup sugar
• 2 teaspoons salt
• 5 ¼ to 5 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
