Ingredients
- 1 and 1/2 cups margarine
- 1/2 cup water
- 3 egg yolks or 2 eggs
- 4 cups Glicks Flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tablespooon Gefen Vanilla Sugar
- Gefen Cinnamon, to taste
- egg, for egg wash
- 7 or 8 large Cortland apples, thinly sliced
- 1/2 tablespoon Gefen Vanilla Sugar
- freshly squeezed lemon juice (optional)
