Ingredients

• 1 pound cooked Italian sausage, sliced
• 3 tablespoons olive oil, divided
• 1 large yellow onion, chopped
• 2 stalks celery, chopped
• 1 medium carrot, sliced
• 1 small fennel bulb, sliced
• 3 garlic cloves, chopped fine
• 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
• 1 bay leaf
• 1 teaspoon chopped fresh rosemary
• 1/4 cup dry white wine
• 6 cups chicken broth
• 2 15-oz. cans cannellini beans, drained, rinsed
• 1 15-oz. can fire-roasted diced tomatoes
