• 1 tin white beans (200 g)
• 1 onion
• 2 cloves garlic
• 2 tbsp tomato puree
• 400 g passata
• 1 tbsp brown sugar
• 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
• 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
• 1 tsp mustard (smooth or grainy)
• 500 ml vegetable stock
• 4 thick slices of sourdough
• 2 tbsp butter
