Kuih Semperit

Ingredients

• 1 cup flour
• 1 cup custard powder
• 2 cup cornstarch
• 1 cup butter
• 1 cup sugar
• 110ml Ayam Brand™ Santan Superlight
• 1-2 spoon pandan extract
• Topping of your choice - palm sugar/cheese/jam/chocolate sprinkles
• In a bowl, mix the flour, custard powder and cornstarch. Set this flour mixture aside.
• In a separate bowl, combine the butter with sugar.
• Pour in coconut milk into the butter into the butter mixture. Add the pandan extract as well. Mix well.
• Pour in the flour mixture into the coconut milk and butter mixture bit by bit. Mix well until it becomes a dough.
• Using a piping bag, pipe the dough to the shape that you like.
• Bake for 25 minutes at 180c.
• You may top with shredded palm sugar or cheese or jam to your liking when it is still hot.
