Dundee Beef Stew Recipe

Ingredients

• 2 lb stewing beef
• 1/2 C all purpose flour
• 1/2 tsp paprika
• 2 T vegetable oil
• 8 oz onions, peeled and chopped
• 1/2 stick butter
• 4 oz button mushrooms, quartered
• 2 garlic cloves, crushed with a little salt
• 1 T bitter marmalade
• 1-1/4 C red wine
• 2/3 C beef stock
• Salt and ground black pepper
