Green Chile Stew Slow Cooker

Ingredients

• 3 Tbsp oil
• 2 garlic cloves minced
• 1 large onion minced
• 1 lb. ground sirloin
• 1/2 lb. ground pork
• 3 cups chicken broth
• 2 cups water
• 2-4 oz. cans diced green chiles (fresh Hatch chiles if available)
• 4 large potatoes diced
• 10-oz pkg. frozen corn
• 1 tsp coarse ground black pepper
• 1 tsp crushed dried oregano
• 1/2 tsp ground cumin (more if you like it hot!)
• 1 tsp salt
