- 400g (13oz) red grapes, removed from their stalks
- 75g (3oz) ground almonds
- 15g (½oz) melted butter
- 90g (3¼oz) demerara sugar
- 1 x 320g packet Tesco scone mix
- 150ml (¼ pint) milk
- 1 egg, beaten
- crème fraîche, clotted cream or vanilla ice cream, to serve
