• 2 cups homemade or store-bought chicken broth
• 2½ cups whole milk
• ¼ cup finely chopped onion
• ½ pound to 1 pound lobster meat, chopped
• 1/8 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
• Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
• ½ cup heavy cream
