  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Whole milk
  • 2 cups Clam juice (reserved from steaming clams)
  • 2 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 bay leaf
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Dash of smoked paprika (optional)
  • Fresh chopped parsley, for garnish
