- 50g (1/3 cup) custard powder
- 750ml (3 cups) milk
- 1 cup (250ml) pouring or thickened cream (see notes)
- 60g butter
- 3 egg yolks
- 2 tsp Queen Concentrated Vanilla Extract
- 235g (1 ½ cups) icing sugar, sifted
- ½ tsp Queen Concentrated Vanilla Extract
- 2 tbsp (40ml) milk
