CARAMEL APPLE CRUMBLE - Community Kitchen
My Caramel Apple Crumble has all the fall feels! It's warm + buttery + full of caramel apple flavor. The perfect sweet treat for Autumn!
Ingredients
- 3 lbs tart + firm apples (Jonagold, Honeycrisp or Braeburn)
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 1 T ground cinnamon
- 1 t ground cardamom
- 1/4 t ground cloves
- dash of sea salt
- 1 1/2 C caramel sauce (I love Southern Caramel Sea Salted Caramel Sauce)
- For the crumble:
- 1 C white whole wheat flour
- 1 C old-fashioned oats
- 1/2 C shaved almonds
- 1/3 C dark brown sugar
- 1/2 C cultured butter, softened
