  • 1 medium onion, grated
  • 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, minced
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 ½ tsp pepper, divided

  • 2 lb ground beef or 1 ½ lb ground beef and ½ lb ground pork
  • 3 Tbsp all-purpose flour

  • 2 tsp fresh thyme leaves, chopped
