Sausage & mushroom quiche

Ingredients

• Pastry:
• 120g butter, chilled
• 200g all purpose flour, sifted
• ¼ tsp salt
• 10g icing sugar, sifted
• 1 small egg, lightly beaten
• Filling:
• 1 onion, chopped
• 80g button mushroom (canned), sliced
• 90g frankfurters, sliced
• 1 tbsp oil
• 125g milk
• 100g whipping/ double (dairy) cream
• 2 small eggs, lightly beaten
• 1 tsp salt
• Black pepper to taste
